Within this role you will work as part of a team to provide high quality nursing care to residents. Working as a member of the nursing team, you will be carrying out all relevant forms of care in conjunction with other nurse practitioners. You will ensure that care services are consistently provided to a high-quality standard ensuring the personal care needs of residents are met while respecting the dignity of the individual and promoting independence. As the nurse on duty, you will accurately assess the needs of residents and identify priorities of care. You will administer all medication and treatments within the NMC guidelines and our medication policy. You will ensure that residents care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals and will report any ill-health amongst residents and make a request for GP/professional visit where necessary. The position is offering 48 hours per week, at a pay rate up to £20.00 per hour.
This role will manage and co-ordinate care delivery and will be primarily responsible for promoting and delivering person-centred care, being mindful of resident’s age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity and spiritual needs. The post holder will work within a team ethos with the resident’s choices, dignity, independence and personal safety at the core of all clinical activity and will work within their professional accountability and competencies for their professional registration.
We are also seeking to recruit Registered General Nurses to take assignments at a range of care homes in the area. You will be able to accept the shifts that suit your lifestyle. Shifts in various locations will be offered to you on an ad-hoc basis, so a flexible approach to your working patterns would be desirable. You will be part of multi-disciplinary teams dedicated to providing high levels of care within established care homes for the elderly

Registered nurse with current UKCC registration
Experience in care of the elderly beneficial but not a requirement
Practice knowledge of care planning
